Lego Wedo 2.0

Over the last few weeks 4th class have created simple machines using our Lego Wedo kits. Each group engaged with block based programming, whereby they coded instructions for the motor to perform. The code informed the motor what direction to turn, for how long and the speed.  When we ran into difficulties we adapted our code. 

Some groups included motion and tilt sensors to their design. The motion sensor detected objects Infront of the object and the tilt sensor reported the directed it was tilted. Through exploration and teamwork 4th class constructed creative and innovative machines. Our theme was the funfair.
